Tibetan Buddhism is the national religion of the Tibetan people and Tibetans are very devout in their devotion. Besides their religious use, Tibetan singing bowls are also beautiful instruments. Nepal is home to the Himalayas, the highest peak in the world. Nepal is bordered by India to the south and China to the north. There are 23.2 million people living in Nepal and 60 different ethnic groups. Although most Nepalese would categorize themselves as Hindus, many beliefs are in line with those of Tibetan Buddhism. The items in this section are from both Tibet and Nepal.
